Polling concludes : Left One dead with more than 26% Voting Turn Out In Valley.


30 April 2014 : As, polling was recorded peaceful by media and historians full day, left a youth namely Bashir Ahmad Bhat (24) dead in the late hours during evening. It is believed that he with other miscreants disturbed the order when polling staff was leaving from booths. The mob was attacking the staff and security forces in order to restore the situation gunned down Bashir who succumbed to his injuries during the clash with police.
Nazir and Haleema also got injured during same.
In response the separatist parties in Kashmir Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz and Hurriyat Conference led by S.A.S. Geelani urged people to shutdown on thursday i.e., May 1
Meanwhile Nowhatta area which was considered in threatening zone for security and polling staff observed queues of electors at Shampora area in Nowhatta.
Here in Eidgah today Mubarak Gul was seen on chair sitting inside polling booth  after he voted.
