Sectarian Collision In Kashmir

7/24/2013: The Kashmir valley from past several days observed religious Muslim sectarian tension in many villages. This beginned from a scuffle of Drivers at Khumani Chowk Bemina, which ignited Muslim Sectarian Shia-Sunni collision. This resulted in mass destruction for both the sects. The tension between the two groups gradually diffused in number of villges from budagam like Paris Abad. Cops who were deployed to maintain Law and Order have failed to stand neutral. It has been allegedly reported that several personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Police supported the majority sect of muslims which brough more anger in people.
Several noted religious leaders have expressed their opinions and have appealed the people not to promote the civil war. The god father of Shia Muslim Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari has blamed Nation Conference the ruling party of J&K for this sectarian clash. He told that the Government has totally failed here, and now to hide their failure points they are doing these jobs in order to divert the attention of people.
Jammau and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader Yasin Malik after his release from custody went to door to door in the affected areas of Budgam. He organized a peace full march procession in the affected areas. He decided to stay there till the situation will become normal. Malik addressed the people to maintain peace and brotherhood. He also told, this is very shameful to know that muslims who follow same last messenger of Allah are fighting with each other, are burning each others houses, mosques and Imam Bargahs. he also added that this incident make his heart to bleed.
However the situation in Srinagar is calm now. After the curfew days the life has returned to normal.
