Celebrating 24th Death Anniversary of Mirza Abdul Ghani Beigh


Celebrating 24th Death Anniversary of Mirza Abdul Ghani Beigh : who remained a prominent noha writer and chanter in srinagar valley. He was son of a noted noha writer who wrote "ye chu zuljanaye syede shohda" and "aegul e gulzar ali akbaram".
Mirza Abdul Ghani Beigh was born at Sonwar in srinagar who then migrated to nowpora town. He wrote about hundreds of nohas and chanted several which became most famous in srinagar. Beigh also chanted for grand ashura procession in summer capital of J&K. He has contributed alot towards the shia literary work in kashmir  He had quick writing skills and he was invited several times by Iranian Embassy in India. He died on March 29 1989 and left thousands of his fans and well wishers lamenting.
